Packaging up the last 30 of the edition … “Took the One” on paper is almost sold out … then I start with the Canvas Edition.  The Canvas Edition will be more expensive.

January 2009 will bring New Prints … I’ve got 7 new ones in the Que … let you know soon which ones.

Painting Trout Skins tomorrow … Looking forward to building my new house and having an extra large studio!!!

Looks like the carpet got here today and it’s a mess!  I’m assembling all the shelves, tables and about to unpack the easel!  Painting starts tomorrow and I can hardly wait!

I’m starting with the Trout Skins!  I’ve a few remote boxes I might finish up and definitely the abstract trout.  Talk soon when the paint is actually flying.

Ugh! Still waiting for the carpet and then I’ll be able to get this Artist Pad Rolling!

I’ve been fortunate enough to have awesome help in such a short period of time since I’ve been back.  But still I’m anxious to get back on the canvas.  Something about the ever so elusive trout in the water … challenges me every time.  What colors?  Cold? Hot?  Detailed? or Loose? … eh … I’m thinking warped and loosely abstract.  Just a subtle hint that there’s a beautiful slippery sucker in that paint mess.  Hmmm?  And out of all the trout … the Brown trout is my favorite to paint BTW.  You might like to know.

Art sales and the Econ Crunch?  Yipes!  I think I will avoid the obvious and say at this moment in time … I’m planning to have an incredible time in the studio.  My paint dungeon … My space … So I’ll just have me some fun and let the brush flow.

3 more days and counting!!!!!  BTW … I miss riding my Ducati 999!  It’s in storage in Vegas at the racetrack.  I just put a new Termi exhaust system on ‘er and she purrs like a lion.  I’m bug-gutting for sure this summer.  I’ve got a special mount being built for ‘er.  I’m shooting for 50 canvases and a book!  … Why?  It’s a game. Games are fun and create interest … thus it’s fun attention units.

I was on the phone for hours to get this task complete so now you can take a look and buy all you’d like.  I’ve only 30 Took the One’s available … that’s why the price is up … the paper edition is almost complete.  I’ll have 10 Artist Proofs on paper then I start into the 90 canvas prints and these will start around $500.  So get the paper one while you can.

The studio is still being built … can’t wait to slap the paint and get more Trout Skins painted.  I’ll keep you posted!

Yes that’s right!  I just got back to Jackson last week and am building the studio.

Not enough room in the house for my paint castle so I’m constructing the Bill Gate’s Special … my own exclusive two car garage studio!  I can’t wait!

The paint starts flying soon and bug-gutting starts in June.  I’ll be painting tons of abstract trout skins and trout in the water … oil on canvas.

I’ll be blogging almost everyday once the studio is moving.
